He is an assistant professor/ Ad Astra Fellow/ Marie Curie Fellow of Computer Science at University College Dublin, Ireland. He is also an adjunct professor at the Centre for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu, Finland. He received a Doctor of Science (DSc.) degree in communication engineering from the University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland. He has received several best paper awards and co-authored more than 150 scientific publications including two edited books with Wiley. His research interests are SDN, IoT, Blockchain, MEC, network security. He has a h-index of 26 and more than 6300 citations. Founder
He is a researcher at School of Computer Science, University College Dublin (UCD). Bartlomiej received a joint BA International Degree in Computer Science from UCD, Ireland and University of New South Wales, Australia. He also received a PhD degree from UCD awarded in 2019 with his thesis: "Application defined QoE-driven monitoring for real-time, business & critical applications in multi-vendor Software Defined Networks". Bartlomiej is an active academic collaborator with Performance Engineering Laboratory (pel.ucd.ie). During his research work, he worked closely with companies such as Logentries and Rapid7 and conducted research in the area of Software Defined Networking (SDN). Most recently, he worked on a large-scale 5G fronthauling project led by Dublin City University (DCU) and Ulster University. Bartlomiej is teaching the "Programming for the Internet of Things" module at UCD School of Computer Science and supervises a number of final year student projects. Bartlomiej is a member of IEEE and ACM.
Cybersecurity Expert
Chamitha De Alwis is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computer Science & Technology, Faculty of Creative Arts, Technologies & Science in University of Bedfordshire. He is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He also offers consultancy services in areas related to Mobile Networks and Cybersecurity. Chamitha holds a B.Sc. in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering with First Class Honors from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK. Chamitha's research interests focus on cutting-edge areas such as AI Security, Cybersecurity, Network Security, 5G/6G technologies, and Blockchain. He has successfully secured numerous competitive research grants and actively contributes to several high-impact research projects.
